In the dense urban fabric, some plots offer few opportunities for redevelopment. On rue Lesbroussart in Ixelles, the twinning of two houses designed by architects Nicolas Vanden Eeckhoudt and Laurence Creyf enabled the creation of new spaces playing on both geometry and isolation.
If you take tram 81 from Flagey Square along Lesbroussartstraat, you can see a building with a large white façade through the window. It may not seem particularly remarkable within the urban fabric of Brussels, but your gaze is drawn to a large window on the ground floor and an added volume with a roof terrace.
