For over 30 years, the Swiss architectural firm Gigon/Guyer Architekten has been contributing to an international architectural discourse on space, light and sustainability. A and Bozar have invited them to give a lecture. A conversation with Annette Gigon.
Lisa De Visscher — The Gigon/Guyer firm got off to a flying start when you won the competition for the Kirchner Museum in Davos in 1989. Since then, more than ten other museum projects have followed, including the refurbishment of the Kunstmuseum in Basel and the archaeological museum in Osnabrück. So you have a firm grasp of the typology, even though it has evolved significantly over the last 30 years. How would you describe this evolution?
