The ‘Point, ligne et plan’ project was carried out by Nicolas De Moor as part of a study on the Tihange nuclear power station, undertaken by the Art, Landscape, Architecture workshop during the 2017–2018 academic year at the ULB La Cambre Horta Faculty of Architecture.

2025. Belgium has phased out nuclear power. Along the Meuse, between the towns of Huy and Amay, the Tihange nuclear power station has been permanently shut down. The Meuse quays are gradually being decanalised. The meanders, now flooded once more, are once again becoming a fertile habitat for species native to the Meuse. Following decommissioning, the reactors and cooling towers – now ruins and heritage sites – stand as the last remnants of a bygone era. Little by little, the remnants of the industrial era are giving way to a new temporal reality: that of nature.
