The Mamout architecture practice is based in Brussels at La Vallée, which is “a space for working, meeting and sharing for creative professionals”. Sébastien Dachy and Matthieu Busana take advantage of this dynamic environment to collaborate, on some of their architectural projects, with the landscape architects, artists and ceramists with whom they share the premises.

At present, Mamout is working notably on the new cultural centre in Jette, a project they are developing from an existing, derelict structure, as well as on the regeneration of a social housing block in Ganshoren. In all their projects, they make it a point of honour to treat the existing structure as a system to be preserved, into which a programme is inserted that will adapt over time.
