On the edge of Lichtervelde village centre stands a large, red-brick house. Welcome to the new youth centre, designed by Raamwerk.

Lichtervelde lies right in the centre of the province of West Flanders, in the Houtland region. It is a residential and commuter town, with some agriculture and industry. Apart from the centre of Lichtervelde, there are no other residential areas or hamlets to be found. Outside the village centre, you find nothing but fields and meadows, country lanes and panoramic views, chapels and wayside shrines.
