Bozar has, for a long time now, enshrined in its cultural policy the aim of making this institution a true European agora: a place for meeting, exchange and debate on European issues, raising public awareness through culture. On 2 July, a new space opened within the building under the name Salon Europa.

It is in the former Stained-Glass Hall, a space situated at the junction between the Cinematek and the Sculpture Hall, below the bookshop, that this new ‘laboratory of citizenship’ is located, [where] ‘the European ethos is forged through the sharing of stories and utopian visions brought by each individual’.
