The fifth volume in the series, this guide aims to shed light on a little-known architectural heritage that nevertheless reveals the impact modernity has had on our regions, beyond the major urban centres and the most famous works. Some 445 projects (public and private buildings, urban spaces and engineering structures) are thus presented following meticulous field and archival research, collaboration with local authorities, libraries, museums and archive centres, as well as synthesis and communication. Forty-three authors offer their critical perspectives through entries, each accompanied by original graphic documents and a recent photograph of the building.

A distinctive feature of this work is its geographical scope: the guide covers the 3,666 km² of the Namur region and the 4,440 km² of the Luxembourg region, with particular attention paid to the landscape and geomorphological characteristics of the region and its sub-regions. The selection aims to include as many municipalities as possible and to highlight their rural character, bringing together a mix of small urban centres (Dinant, Marche, Neufchâteau, Andenne), border areas (Athus, Bastogne, Virton) and even forested areas.
