On 15 November, Vai and A+ will conclude the ‘Across’ lecture series at the deSingel arts centre, with the architects from Central as the main guests. The Brussels-based practice will be introduced by Freek Persyn of 51N4E, who has previously collaborated with them.

Pierre Burquel, Radim Louda, Paul Mouchet and Valentin Piret studied together at La Cambre in Brussels. They subsequently gained several years’ professional experience at various firms, but in 2015 they joined forces to form Central. Through this architecture and urban planning firm, the four aim to satisfy their appetite for architectural competitions and new collaborations, whilst conducting research into projects of varying scales.
