They launched a whale and sailed with it through Flanders. They initiated a long-term project on public space for informal play under the title Soft City. They are working on a Hotel ‘Zonder ZeeZicht’ (without sea views) in Ostend. By their own account, they are neither a participation agency nor an architecture firm, but that twofold negation gives away their frame of reference precisely. Dear pigs, consists of four architects who playfully make us think about the city so that it ultimately self-organizes. Lieven De Cauter sat down for a conversation with them.
