Hidden away in the heart of Saint-Gilles, Pierre Paulus Park is located between Place Morichar and Place Marie Janson. Carried out as part of the Parvis-Morichar Sustainable Neighbourhood Contract, the park’s landscaping seeks to combine biodiversity enhancement with accessibility and attractiveness. This redevelopment is the work of a multidisciplinary team led by architects Ledroit Pierret Polet.
Multiple access points to this listed green space connect it to the dense urban fabric that surrounds it. The reconditioning of the topography of part of the park has led to the redevelopment of its playground with a variety of fun activities. In order to improve the site’s biodiversity, its landscaping involves transforming the vegetation layer and enhancing the existing hydrological heritage.
