Seen from the perspective of built projects, the output of the new generation of Belgian architects testifies to conscientious and attentive practices in which the aptness of the architectural response takes precedence over formal exuberance. To address these creations from the viewpoint of their representations is to observe a complex space in which the mediatization of the architecture office, the project documents and the photographs of buildings combine to question architecture’s modes of existence.
