After four years as Bouwmeester of the City of Charleroi – and at a time when many projects have entered the implementation phase – Georgios Maïllis reflects on the initial lessons that can be drawn from the role of the Bouwmeester in relation to the authorities and the world of property development with which he is confronted on a daily basis.
