Hans Maes and Joep Gosen invite the public to stand still and look closely at objects they would normally simply walk past.
For the Ledebergse Standaertsite, the artist Marc Nagtzaam has created an orange steel structure. It is fascinating to note that the latticework, which speaks to the imagination in its own right, will eventually be overgrown with climbing plants – thus becoming part of the green lung that this site is set to become. In this project, therefore, the real work only begins after the structure has been completed: over time, nature reclaims its place from civilisation.
