The name ‘Wissel architectuur studio’ is synonymous with a way of working: an interaction between drawing, model and image, but also an interaction between the past and the present.

“References are a major part of the design process in every project. We strongly believe in looking at the past of architecture and the art world, and translating inspirations into our own language in order to search for the unexpected. The reference to the winter garden of the Ursuline Institute fascinates us because it is a place between inside and outside. This ‘in-between’ is a place where architecture emerges for us; we often seek this out in our projects.”
