The renovation of the Léonardo Da Vinci Royal High School in Anderlecht forms part of the redevelopment of the Albert I block. As part of this project, the various proposals were required to redefine the reception areas for the different users and to incorporate a theatre company into the premises, thereby striking a balance between the dual requirements of security and openness.

The Royal Leonardo Da Vinci High School – ARLDV – is situated at the heart of the Albert I block, which is itself the subject of an ambitious comprehensive redevelopment entrusted to A.M. Dessins & Construction – AAC. The school requires a comprehensive refurbishment, with some works currently underway. Beyond the functional and technical aspects, this project represents a new impetus that will strengthen the school’s integration into its neighbourhood under the school contract and provide a permanent home for the nursery school, which is currently housed in temporary buildings.
