The Architecture Unit is responsible, amongst other things, for tasks relating to the implementation of the decree of 10 May 1984 concerning the integration of works of art into public buildings, and is one of the organisers of the major exhibition at BOZAR, ‘Jean Glibert. Peintre en bâtiment’. Chantal Dassonville, Deputy Director-General, and project manager Lamya Ben Djaffar explain, drawing on artistic experiences, what approaches and alternatives have been implemented in relation to this decree, which the Cellule hopes to amend officially in the near future.
