BOZAR ARCHITECTURE and A+ Architecture in Belgium have invited Martino Tattara to present the recent work of the Dogma architectural practice, which he and Pier Vittorio Aureli co-founded in 2002. Tattara will focus in particular on the connections between developments in working conditions and architecture. As work has become much more flexible than in the past, the use of space has also become more mobile: workplaces and private spaces have tended to merge. Ideas about town planning, however, have not taken this development into account. Our speaker will look at a number of proposals, incorporating this new approach to work/life issues, that have been put forward for cities such as Chicago, Tallinn, and Brussels.
