On Sunday 13 December, A+ invites you to a series of exclusive guided tours and conversations at the Design Museum Gent focusing on the museum’s renovation and refurbishment. The architects behind the project will join in conversation: Ghent-based office Atama, responsible for the building’s renovation; Laura Muyldermans, who designed the scenography for the permanent collection; and Elmes, who created the exhibition architecture for the temporary exhibition Public Matter(s): Design and Democracy.
How does a cohesive museum emerge when different design practices work on the same project? These conversations offer a unique insight into the design process – from the creative choices made to the collaboration and interaction between the various architects involved.
The event also celebrates the release of A+320 Practice under Pressure, which features the Design Museum Gent.
