This event concludes the first day of Exchange in Practice, a two-day exchange programme for young architects from the Netherlands and Flanders/Brussels, organised by Nieuwe Instituut and the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAi).

The upcoming issue, A+317 Joints & Details, co-edited by Aurélie Hachez, highlights the crucial importance of attention to detail in the architectural thought process. Hachez explores how architects navigate legal, technical and sustainability requirements, and how these forces influence architectural details, whether technical, circular, cultural or activist.

During this evening event, Aurélie Hachez, accompanied by a guest speaker, will examine how difference can be hidden in the smallest details.
