Émilie Bechet, Maxime Czvek and Corine Paquot, architects and friends, bought a house in Forest in 2019, one of the few on the street without a bel étage, because on the ground floor, behind a large glass carriage entrance, an old ironworks occupied the entire length of the plot.

Subdividing a dwelling to create several units, extending a dwelling onto the roof, rehabilitating a productive space, reducing the density of an interior block and consequently improving soil permeability, favouring natural materials and reuse, working from home, planning a new way of living together. In keeping with the spirit of the times, these themes of living are crystallised here in a single project.
