On 8 and 9 October 2026, Paris will host the 12^th edition of Les Rendez-vous de la Matière, organised by FORMÆ. This is the leading event dedicated to materials, craftsmanship and innovations for architecture, design, decoration and interior design. This year, Belgian craftsmanship is put in the spotlight. 

Each edition brings together manufacturers, craftspeople, designers and specifiers, all united by a shared ambition: to explore new expressions of materials and the solutions that will shape the spaces of tomorrow. The fair fosters connections between those involved in creation and production, creating a unique fusion of exceptional materials and industrial solutions.

This year’s theme, “Belgique à l’honneur, matière à penser”, focuses on the craftsmanship, design and innovation of Belgian creators and studios. It is an opportunity to discover or rediscover the work of several Belgian craftspeople and designers, such as the master glassmakers Le château de Verre, the collaborative creative hub founded by Lionel Jadot, Zaventem Ateliers, the textile design specialist Daniel Henry Studio, the creators of architectural mosaics Françoise Lombaers, and the leather craftspeople at Atelier Cornet.

The event is set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing market, where the boundaries between architecture, design and creation are gradually blurring. More than ever, the creative process begins with the material: exploring, transforming, enhancing. Spanning nearly 2,000 m² of exhibition space, the fair offers a space for experimentation, networking and inspiration for all those involved in project development and specification.
