Seven similar buildings occupy a trapezoidal plot of land in Gilly, between the school on Rue Circulaire and the houses along Rue de l’Abbaye. The garages are constructed from orange brick, concrete structural elements, off-white steel doors and roofing.
The slope of the southernmost pent roof runs in the opposite direction to the gradient of the landscape. As a result, the lower edge of the roof is only about a metre above the ground. The small triangular grassy area is screened from view by a hedge. In summer, when the roofing is warm and soft, texts and drawings are carved into it.
