In recent years, it has become increasingly clear that if we want to make the construction sector more sustainable, we must first focus on reusing existing structures. In Herentals, the city council and FVWW architects gave a colossal, single-purpose office complex a new future as a public site with a mix of functions: the police station, art academies, city archives and several local associations now share the former Belgacom building.
