In recent years, Brussels has emerged as fertile ground for young talent. Young architectural firms have been founded there or have been able to secure their first major commissions. Like the city itself, these firms are diverse in nature: they include meta-national design firms and original administrative or decision-making structures, with a desire to transcend the boundaries of the profession by linking architecture to other disciplines.
The Bouwmeester Maître Architecte (BMA) is delighted to support this emergence. The tools put in place by the BMA aim to open up the Brussels scene to high-quality project designers by encouraging unexpected profiles with a fresh perspective. In this respect, the role of young architects is essential.
