The Seraing Municipal Authority (Eriges) has selected Olivier Fourneau Architects as the winner of the competitive tender process for the construction of a residential building on Rue Ferdinand Nicolay in Ougrée. This project is part of a series of initiatives aimed at revitalising the neighbourhood, highlighting the importance of contemporary architecture in urban development.
Two buildings will soon flank the forecourt at the foot of the footbridge on Rue Ferdinand Nicolay. The first, the Phalanstère, is a 19th-century building that will be renovated to accommodate six apartments. The Delincé architecture studio was awarded the project following a negotiated procedure without advertising.
