Forster designs steel and stainless steel profile systems for doors, windows and curtain walls. Since 2021, the brand has been part of the Reynaers Group. It is aimed at building professionals looking for high-performance solutions for ambitious projects, characterised by slim profiles, large spans and high requirements in terms of safety and regulatory compliance.

With over 150 years of Swiss expertise, Forster combines high performance in fire and burglary resistance with great architectural freedom. This know-how is now reinforced by the technical support, project monitoring and international reach of the Reynaers Group.

Freedom of design in steel

For building professionals who place creativity at the heart of their projects, Forster offers a comprehensive approach to steel, suitable for both interior and exterior applications. From elegant, slender interior doors with fire and smoke protection properties to high-performance solutions for exterior joinery that meet the most stringent thermal and structural requirements.

This consistency allows the same aesthetic and construction logic to be maintained throughout the entire project, from the façade to the interior. Thanks to its slim profiles and high flexibility in shaping, steel is the material of choice for contemporary architecture.

Uncompromising security

When security and regulations play a decisive role, steel makes the difference. Forster steel security solutions are designed for applications subject to increased requirements in terms of fire, burglary and bullet resistance. They are tested and certified according to current European standards. The minimal profile widths allow these security levels to be integrated directly into the architecture without compromising the aesthetics of the project.

Fire and smoke resistance: EI30 to EI120 for fixed partitions, EI1 30 to EI1 60 for doors
Burglary resistance: RC1 to RC4
Bullet resistance: FB4 to FB6
