Ouest is a Brussels-based architectural firm founded in 2009 and led by Stéphane Damsin and Jan Haerens. Their projects are rooted in the densely built and heterogeneous city, which they approach with enthusiasm and respect. Their designs focus on strengthening urban dynamics and community life.
In the exhibition Urban Legend, Ouest presents its fascination with the city through five of its completed designs. The architectural firm approaches the city as a living organism, both fiction and reality. A treasure trove of stories told by urban planners, writers and artists, which resonate with their own questions and projects.
During an opening lecture on 14 October 2025, Stéphane Damsin and Jan Haerens will provide commentary on the exhibition and the accompanying publication.
