A+ and Febelcem are organising a masterclass for architecture students. Guests include Swiss architectural firm EM2N, known for their urban transformations and innovative conversions, and Belgian artist Philip Aguirre Y Otegui, who explores socio-political themes in sculptures and installations.
In a short lecture, they will each highlight three of their projects, from concept to execution, focusing on both the social significance of their work and the concrete creative process – from choice of materials to techniques. They will then engage in a discussion with students and lecturers about the thinking and creative process behind architecture and art.
Febelcem will then present the twelfth edition of its biennial Concrete Design Competition for students.
