The Italian architecture firm Baukuh, which was established in 2004, has neither a hierarchical structure, nor a stylistic dogma. They believe in a rational creative process and take a keen interest in architecture from the past. In 2010, they founded the magazine San Rocco, together with a group of other architects, critics and photographers. Five years later, ‘House of Memory’, their best-known building, was inaugurated. Their work has been exhibited on several occasions, namely at the Architecture Biennial in Venice, at the Lisbon Triennial and at the Architecture Biennial of Chicago. In Belgium, they are currently restoring a school in Hoogstraten, together with the Antwerp firm RE-ST. A+ and BOZAR have the pleasure of inviting them to give a talk on 7 May.
