Bas Princen, the Dutch photographer and artist, is a key figure on the international architectural scene. His photographs have always maintained an intimate dialogue with architecture and landscape, at times used as a tool for creativity and at times as a tool for understanding the architectural project.  In his work, Princen questions the reference, in terms of the selection of images, his inspiration and the subjects explored.  Today he is diversifying his photographic subjects, plunging for example into the CCA archives to propose new and exciting realisations that experiment with scale and materials.  After exhibiting at the Vitra Design Museum gallery during the summer, Bas Princen has been invited by A+ and BOZAR to give a conference at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels on 22 November.
