The conference by Alexander Dierendonck marks the opening of the monographic exhibition PRAXIS — from the Ghent office dierendonckblancke architecten — as well as the beginning of a new series of architectural exhibitions at BOZAR.
After graduating in Sint-Lucas (Ghent) in 1994, he began his professional career in various european offices and architectural collectives such as Dominique Perrault Architecture, Atelier Christian Hauvette or LABFAC (Finn Geipel & Nicolas Michelin). Back in Belgium, he established his own office in 1999 before founding dierendonckblancke architecten with Isabelle Blancke in 2009.
This conference is an opportunity to learn more about a practice — instinctive but no less concerned about details — that the duo and its team have been evolving for two decades now.
