A+ and Bozar invite Spanish architect David Sebastián to give a lecture at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels on 15 March. This A+ Talk will focus on the use of brick as a building material. On the eve of the lecture, A+ spoke with him about some of his most striking brick projects and how he uses the material for architectural experiments.

A+ – In one of your more recent and best-known projects, House in Three Springtimes in Teruel (Spain, 2017), you use brick, among other materials. It is a very striking and experimental application of the material. How did brick influence the design?
