In a remote location in the Ardennes, BC Architects worked on a villa using materials that were extracted or processed within a 30-kilometre radius of the project. The project raises the question of what we can do with this on a large scale.
Once in a while, a house is designed that few have visited, but many have seen. In addition to being a home for its owners, it becomes a reference point for the architectural world, a phantasm almost, a project that, regardless of its physical form, takes on a life of its own in drawings and images.
